Errabelli empowers rural women in TS, shares some good news

The objective for SERP (Society for the Elimination of Rural Poverty) and bank linkage has been set at Rs. 15,037.40 crore for the fiscal year 2023–24, according to Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao. Dwakra women and their groups serve as role models for the nation. He claimed that the government wants women to become more economically successful. In a programme organised on Tuesday at a posh hotel in Hyderabad, the minister announced the yearly plan for bank connection.

Women and officers who demonstrated the finest performance in various categories received awards. Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao spoke on this occasion and wished for women to become successful businesswomen. In order to loosen the terms of loans made to women, banks should lend them enough money as often as feasible.

He claimed that women handle 98 percent of recoveries across the nation, while men receive 57 percent of loans and women in our state obtain 76 percent of loans. It has been stated that the Dwakra community has received loans totaling Rs. 5,56,556. According to him, as of March 31, 2023, Self Help Societies had a debt total of Rs. 3,924.50 crore. According to him, loans of 3,738 crores were provided in 2014–15 and 12,722 crores will be provided in 2022–23.

He claimed that the state has surpassed all other states in the nation in both including rural poor women as members of self-help groups and in giving an average bank loan to a self-help group of more than Rs. 10 lakhs. He said that, behind self-help organisations and private groups, we have the second-lowest bank loan balance in the nation.
