BRS strengthens its presence in North; BJP leaders join BRS

As elections are soon approaching, politicians jumping parties and forming new parties is not a new scenario. However, this year, the elections in Telangana have become tougher, with all parties competing closely with each other and moreover, the ruling party BRS is gearing up for national level competition too.

We have earlier informed you that a few BJP leaders are ready to join the ruling BRS. True to our words, today, on Tuesday, BJP leaders joined the BRS party. Buddasen Patel, a former BJP MP from Rewa Parliamentary Constituency in Madhya Pradesh state, joined the party in the presence of BRS party chief and CM KCR at Pragathi Bhavan on Tuesday. He was invited to the party after donning the pink scarf. Along with him, former BSP MLA Dr. Naresh Singh Gurjar, SP's former Satna MLA Dhirendra Singh, Satna's former district panchayat member Vimala Bagri, Sarvajan Kalyan Party's national president Sanjay Yadav, Bhopal's Rakesh Malviya, Satyendra Singh, and others have joined the BRS. Former MP Buddhasen Patel has been appointed as the State BRS Party Coordinator for Madhya Pradesh. KCR handed over the appointment letters to all of them. Chennur also took part in this programme.
