Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao condemned the statements made by K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) regarding his alleged involvement in the recent murder case in Vanaparthi. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has sparked a political controversy with Rao defending his stance.
KTR, in his address, suggested that Rao had a role in the murder of Sridar Reddy, a claim that the Minister has firmly denied. “How can KTR talk about my involvement in yesterday's murder case without knowing the full details?” Rao questioned. He emphasized that an inquiry would be conducted to uncover the truth behind Reddy’s death.
“Sridar Reddy has nothing to do with politics. He is close to a former MLA,” Rao clarified. He further elaborated on the strained relations within Reddy’s family, mentioning ongoing property disputes and financial connections with the former MLA.
In his rebuttal, Rao expressed frustration over the misinformation being spread by certain political factions and media outlets.
