Instagram Hype: Hyderabadis must be careful

Of late, it has become a common culture for food bloggers to hype up an eatery and prompt commoners to go there. One such Instagram famous outlet is Rameshwaram cafe.

But as it turns out, this Rameshwaram cafe which has so much following on social media is no saint. The Telangana Task Force has reprimanded the outlet about the same.

Expired Dal and Curd in Rameshwaram Cafe Madhapur and German Cockroaches in Bahubali kitchen

Task force team has conducted inspections in the Madhapur area on Thursday .

The Rameshwaram Cafe

* Urad Dal (100Kg) stock found expired in Mar'24 worth Rs. 16K

* Nandini Curd (10kg), Milk (8L) worth Rs. 700 found expired

Above items discarded on the spot.

Improperly labelled Raw Rice(450Kg), White Lobia (20kg) worth Rs. 26K seized

* Unlabelled Jaggery (300kg) worth Rs. 30k was seized

* Medical Fitness Certificates for Food Handlers not available.

* Dustbins not covered properly with lids.

Not just this outlet, but the likes of Shah Ghouse, Kritunga, and other outlets were also reprimanded by the task force. So the Hyderabadi residents are better off checking the standards before falling for Instagram hyped food outlets.
