Usually, it is those who are already in the field that tend to get their kith and kin in the same field so that the power doesn't go away from them. She is the daughter of the dynamic couple, Konda Surekha and Konda Murali.
For a long time, the Konda couple has dominated the Warangal region and though they may not be in power today, they still have that clout, cadre and following. And now, it appears that they are slowly giving the reins to Susmita who is showing competent leadership ability. According to political observers, Susmita is showing the same guts as her mother and is showing unabashed courage when it comes to criticizing the government and ministers like Errabelli Dayakar Rao.
She has also started taking the stage at public meetings and recently her speech at Warangal was met with overwhelming response. The experts are suggesting if Susmita can become more analytical in her attacks and substantiate it with data and statistics, she will hit the target effectively and success will be quicker. While she has just started her journey, it is heart rendering to see youngsters stepping into politics to make a change and that too from the female community. Looking at the way Susmita is able to handle crowds, face the media and display some sheer resilience, many feel she is going to be the way forward for Warangal's future and political regime.
