On the occasion of International Sports Day Epione Center for Sports Rehabilitation a center for pain management opended its 3rd unit Near Jubilee Hills Check post in Hyderabad on Saturday Founded by Sudheer Dara and Dr .Minal Chandra an injury prevention camp was organized for young sports players from various disciplines
At the camp a demonstration of posture analysis, Virtual Reality reflex analysis, bone mineral density , diet/nutritional assessment was held by the staff of the center .
This is the only center in south India with multidisciplinary care for pain management with a new dimension in chronic pain management, platelet rich plasma therapy for knee pain, modalities of pain management and cancer pains etc. Epione’s team of pain specialists use the latest comprehensive and multi modal approach in treating chronic pain conditions.
Speaking on the occasion Dr .Minal Chandra consultant pain physician and co-founder of Epione said “ pain management is a super specialty segment in India and USA and European countries. The aim of this specialized medical department is to conquer the pain and make society pain free. This musuclosketal assessment and injury prevention camp is to bring awareness to the cater to the needs of sports players and athletes from various field so 50000 patints have been treated who have experienced a remarkable relief from their injuries. Our Cerner has an excellent staff of 52 people comprising of telecallers, administrators , virtual reality section and qualified medical personnel.
Rahul singh, captain of Hyderabad Ranji players and IPL player from Mumbai Indian along with Sneha Deepthi, captain of Andhra Pradesh team and IPL player for Delhi Capitals who graced the occasion as chief guest said ‘earlier we had to go abroad for treatment of sports injuries and it was a costly affair. But now Epione has come as a blessing in disguise for us since we can visit in an emergency since it is in our country I recommend Epione because the charges are very reasonable and the staff and team are very experienced.
