Poll strategist Prashant Kishor is quite famous among political enthusiasts across India. The Telugu people know him as the strategist for YSRCP in the run up to the 2019 AP Assembly elections.
He is now planning to expand the footprint of his organization, Jan Suraaj, which is a political party. In the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, Jan Suraaj will be in the race quite seriously.
"We are going to contest from 243 seats. A minimum of 40 women candidates will be nominated," PK said today.
He added that, in the next electoral cycle (that is, in 2030), about 70-80 women will be made leaders from Jan Suraaj. His utterances suggest that he wants to make women empowerment a keystone of his politics.
PK, who might end up inviting the ridicule of the NDA and the INDIA bloc, said that the Jan Suraaj government will surely be formed next year. "Once we come to power, no one will be forced to leave Bihar for a job of Rs 10,000 or 12,000. We have prepared a complete blueprint for this," he added.
