Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayananda has dismissed speculations regarding the presence of elected officials at a recent rave party following a thorough investigation by the City Crime Branch. Police denied the involvement of any politicians in this party.
The raid, conducted at a farmhouse near Electronic City on May 19, was prompted by a tip-off, leading to the identification of 101 attendees. Despite recovering a vehicle bearing an MLA pass belonging to Andhra Pradesh Minister K Govardhan Reddy, Commissioner Dayananda clarified that neither the minister nor his associates were present.
Meanwhile, police arrested five individuals linked to organizing the party or possessing narcotics, including MDMA, Hydro Ganja, and Cocaine.
