Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today hit out at KT Rama Rao and went on to describe the BRS as the B Team of the BJP. What triggered the reaction?
KTR had quote-tweeted an edited video clip in which Siddaramaiah is heard saying that there is no money with the Karnataka government to fulfill the pre-poll promises made to the public. The Congress CM was actually talking about the alleged attitude exhibited by the BJP government led by Yeddyurappa and Basavaraj Bommai before the Congress won the elections in May this year.
Siddaramaiah reacted to the edited video amplified by KTR in an angry way. "Do you know why your party lost in the Telangana Elections? Because you don't even know how to verify what is fake and edited, and what is true. BJP creates fake edited videos, and your party circulates them. Yours is a perfect B Team of BJP," he wrote.
KTR usually shows due diligence and avoids the propagation of fake news against his rivals via his personal handles on social media. This time, KTR seems to have been misled by his team.
