Owaisi's controversial post over Mumbai-Jaipur train killings

Owaisi's controversial post over Mumbai-Jaipur train killings. It is known that an RPF personnel Constable Chetan Singh (34) opened fire on his colleague, an assistant sub-inspector, and three passengers on board the Mumbai-bound Jaipur Express after he lost his cool over a heated argument with the ASI. The incident happened near Palghar railway station in Maharashtra.

After the shooting, Singh tried to escape by jumping out of the train and near Dahisar railway station but the police nabbed him with the weapon. PC Sinha, inspector general-cum-principal chief security commissioner, Western Railway said that the accused was suffering from mental health issues and had temper issues. He said "He had just returned from leave. He first shot his superior and then shot those who came in front of him,"

But MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, despite police not coming out about the terror angle, suspected a terror angle on the entire issue and sharing the video commented “This is a terror attack that specifically targeted Muslims. It is the product of continuous anti-Muslim hate speech & unwillingness of @narendramodi to put an end to it. Will the accused #RPFJawan become a future BJP candidate? Will his bail be supported by the govt? Will he be garlanded when released? Happy to be proven wrong,”

The video shot by the passengers showed Singh standing beside the dead body and saying “… Pakistan se operate hue ye, aur media yehi coverage dikha rahi hai, unko sab pata chal raha hai ye kya kar rahe hain… Agar vote dena hai, agar Hindustan mein rehna hai to mai kehta hoon Modi aur Yogi, ye do hain, aur aapke Thackeray.”

The passengers who were deceased are identified as Abdul Qadirbhai Mohammed Hussain Bhanpurwala (48), Akhtar Abbas Ali (48), and Sadar Mohammed Hussain. This prompted Owaisi to give communal color to the entire incident. However social media Twitter quickly put Owaisi's post on hold. The social media withheld the post at the request of the Union government. Even the post of Journalist Rana Ayyub on the shooting was also withheld.

Owaisi however reacted angrily posting “My tweet on the #JaipurExpressTerrorAttack has been withheld in India on the request of Government of India. What law did it violate? Is calling a terror attack a terror attack a crime? Wish the Modi govt was this proactive in preventing hate crimes against Muslims,”
