Anarchy in Andhra Pradesh Governance: Poosani Krishna Murali's Criticism

YSRCP leader Poosani Krishna Murali has criticized the governance in Andhra Pradesh, claiming that the state is under anarchic rule. He accused the media outlets TV5, Eenadu, and ABN of no longer questioning the government on behalf of the people. He also alleged that YSRCP's social media activists who raise questions are being falsely charged and sent to jail.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Tuesday, Poosani said, "Chandrababu Naidu promoted his 'Super Six' program but stopped fulfilling the promises. He promised free buses and ₹15,000 for every girl, but none of that has been given yet. He is arresting those who question him about the Hamil scheme."

He further accused TV5 of running negative stories about him, even calling him a 'psycho' and claiming he would switch parties. "Chandrababu made 600 promises, why shouldn't we question him?" Poosani continued. "Because I criticized them, TV5 gave TTD Chairman's post to Naidu. He went to Chandrababu's feet to earn money, and B.R. Naidu insulted the film industry. Why wasn’t B.R. Naidu sent to jail for his comments against the film industry and women?" Poosani asked.

He also attacked the government and media for failing to hold those in power accountable. "There is no danger from those who criticize a government that doesn’t work. The real danger is from those who make promises to win votes but never deliver. Why hasn’t a case been filed against Balakrishna for his comments on women? Why didn’t TV5 raise any objections when Chandrababu said ‘does anyone want to be born as an SC?’ If you claim to be honest journalists, why didn’t you question that on behalf of the SC community?" Poosani questioned.

He went on to highlight the lack of action against political figures for offensive remarks, including when TDP leader Lokesh insulted actor Pawan Kalyan’s mother. "Pawan Kalyan himself said Lokesh made serious insults against his mother. Why wasn’t anything done about it? And when TDP leaders insulted Y.S. Jagan, what did TV5 do?" Poosani concluded by criticizing the double standards in media and politics.
