Roja Slams Chandrababu Naidu Government for Disrespecting Six Crore Andhra People

Former minister RK Roja has expressed strong displeasure over the Andhra Pradesh government's decision to not celebrate the state's Formation Day. She condemned the move, stating that it disrespects the six crore people of Andhra Pradesh. Roja demanded an apology from CM Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan to the people of the state.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Roja questioned the rationale behind this decision. She pointed out that neighboring states like Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha all celebrate their formation days, while Andhra Pradesh, under Chandrababu Naidu's leadership, has discontinued the practice.

Roja highlighted that during Jagan Mohan Reddy's tenure as Chief Minister, the state Formation Day was celebrated with grandeur for five consecutive years on November 1st. She criticized the current government's decision to cancel the celebrations even at the district level, deeming it an insult to the sacrifice of Potti Sriramulu, who fought for the creation of Andhra Pradesh.

Roja concluded her statement by asking how the government will justify this decision to future generations.
