YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's security detail has been neglected by the Chandrababu Naidu government. Ahead of his visit to Vinukonda, a defective bullet-proof car was allocated by the government. The vehicle had a breakdown midway.
Moreover, journalists have been obstructed from covering Jagan's Vinukonda visit. The police are also stealthily working against YSRCP leaders who want to rally behind Jagan. Efforts have been made by the government to prevent the free movement of Jagan's convoy, reported Sakshi TV.
In a social media post, Jagan on July 18th condemned the hacking to death of a YSRCP activist in Vinukonda. "Andhra Pradesh is under demonic rule. Law and order is nowhere to be seen. People's lives are at risk and these atrocities are being committed with the intention of suppressing the YSRCP. Within a month and a half of the new government taking office, Andhra Pradesh has become synonymous with murder, rape, political vendetta, and destruction. Yesterday's heinous murder in Vinukonda is an example of this," he wrote.
