Perni Nani, in his first post-election interview, said that Jagan Mohan Reddy's sole motive as the CM was to do good for the people. "In the process, he ended up neglecting YSRCP activists and cadres. His aim was to reduce corruption and plug leakages. His thought process was revolutionary," Nani said in the interview.
He further added that the YSRCP cadres belonging to all social groups (castes) lost in some or the other way. "Hundreds of workers incurred financial losses and they themselves don't know when they will be able to recoup," Nani added.
Jagan realizes that he needs to revive his links with the cadres. "Once he gets down to the work of connecting with the support base and cadres, bonding will happen in no time. He has eked out a plan of action to provide free legal service for activists (and party leaders) who might be targeted by the new government. He has done so both at the district level and High Court level. Our legal teams have been activated promptly," Nani said.
