The electoral roll has ended on a disastrous note for the incumbent YSR Congress outfit as the party ended up losing power in the most shocking manner. Coming to the polling trends, a very interesting cross voting pattern was seen in Tirupati parliamentary constituency.

2. Gudur - 21192(TDP)
3. Sullurpeta - 29115(TDP)
4. Venkatagiri - 16294(TDP)
5. Tirupati - 61956(JSP)
6. Srikalahasti - 43304(TDP)
7. Satyavedu - 3739(TDP)
Total majority = 1,91,888
But, the BJP Tirupati Lok Sabha candidate was lost by 14,569 votes. YSR Congress's Gurumurthy won the segment by the mentioned majority. This is a testament of this good work over the last five years. But nevertheless, the party has received a deadly blow in the state wide assembly and parliament elections.
