Andhra Pradesh escapes from Cyclonic Threat

The Andhra Pradesh Disaster Management Agency revealed that Andhra Pradesh breathed a sigh of relief as the looming threat of a cyclone was averted. The agency disclosed that a low-pressure system formed in the Bay of Bengal had intensified, potentially developing into a gale and cyclonic storm over the east-central Bay of Bengal by the following day.

However, authorities clarified that the cyclonic disturbance was expected to continue towards the coasts of Bangladesh and West Bengal by the evening of May 26, bringing a severe storm. Fortunately, for the time being, Andhra Pradesh remained out of harm's way from this weather phenomenon.

Despite no significant threat, authorities urged residents to remain vigilant and stay updated on weather advisories, emphasizing the unpredictable nature of cyclones and the need for preparedness in coastal regions.
