This year's parliamentary election from the Guntur segment is one to watch out for as it has the richest MP candidate in all of India in the contest. The said MP candidate is Pemmasani Chandrasekhar who is contesting here.
Pemmasani has declared assets worth Rs 5500+ crore and his candidacy from Guntur is going to be one to watch out for as there is a lot at stake for him.
For now, the local TDP leaders are saying that Pemmasani could be winning the election by a margin of 30K+ votes. But even this is going to be a not so comprehensive number considering the financial resources used by Pemmasani.
In any case, there is a slight edge for TDP in the election in Guntur considering it is a stronghold for the party. But a lot will depend on the poll management that was enforced by the two parties.
