A few days ago, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that Telangana CM Revanth Reddy is behind YS Sharmila’s antics in Andhra Pradesh. He mentioned that Revanth is remote controlling Sharmila to aid Chandrababu Naidu in AP.
These were some pretty serious remarks from Jagan who is usually a man who stands by his word.
Now, Revanth Reddy has spoken about the electoral trends in Andhra Pradesh and he has made a very interesting comment about the same.
“I am not bothered about who comes to power in Andhra Pradesh. Whoever comes to power, my job is to have diplomatic ties with them so that the twin Telugu states progress together.”
Had Revanth Reddy had any clue about TDP pipping ahead of YCP in the polling charts, there might’ve been an indirect hint about his political guru Chandrababu Naidu coming to power but that didn’t happen.
The fact that Revanth remained neutral in his stance could be an indication that he knows full well that Jagan Mohan Reddy will retain power and that’s why doesn’t want to rub Jagan on the wrong side.
Needless to say, this is a very diplomatic and wise way to assess the polling patterns and Revanth needs to be appreciated for the same.
