Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad mourns the loss of Abhimanyu, a nine-year-old White Bengal Tiger, who tragically passed away on Tuesday afternoon.
Born on February 2, 2015, the nine-year-old Abhimanyu had been battling health issues since April 21, 2023.
According to the Zoo officials, the animal is suffering with Nephritis and facing renal complications, Abhimanyu's condition deteriorated despite extensive consultations with veterinary experts and zoological specialists. Despite exhaustive efforts and various treatment regimens, the beloved tiger succumbed to his ailments, leaving zoo officials and visitors devastated by the loss.
