Huge boost for health care sector in YSRCP manifesto 2024

YSRCP manifesto 2024gave huge prominence to the health care sector improvement in Andhra Pradesh. According to the manifesto, it is assured to set up three cardiac super speciality hubs in Visakhapatnam, Guntur, and Kurnool. Six cancer care centres to be established in Kadapa, Kakinada, Anantapur, Visakhapatnam, Guntur, and Kurnool.

Further YSRCP manifesto 2024 assured its flagship welfare programs like YSR Aarogyasri, Jagananna Arogya Suraksha,Nadu Nedu, Family Doctor, and Arogya Asara to be continued.

“Upto Rs 25 Lakh of free treatments to be provided through YSR Aarogyasri, programmes such as Jagananna Arogya Suraksha, Family Doctor, and Arogya Asara will all continue
And 17 new medical colleges to be set up to train the next generation of AP’s doctors, increasing MBBS seats by 2,550 and PG seats by 2,737. And another 17 new nursing colleges to be set up to increase numbers of essential medical staff, increasing nursing seats by 1,020. Primary health care( PHCs) and Medical colleges to be modernised and renovated through the Nadu Nedu programme,” read the manifesto.
