Andhra Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy as a part of ‘Jagananna Navaratnalu’ assured to allocate Rs 2000 crores for Smart city plan lacross the state.
YSRCP released a manifesto guaranteed to transform each district’s Headquarters(HQ) as a modern ‘Smart City’ with good roads, drainage, parks, intelligent traffic management, and other facilities by allocating Rs 2,000 Crore as an initial investment.
Special emphasis is given to Visakhapatnam stating that Strategic measures to be taken to elevate Visakhapatnam into a world-class megacity, positioning it as a premier finance and fintech hub of India and the world.
And further gave good news to all the government employees without housing in their native districts by guaranteeing that 60% of the costs to construct their own house would be covered by the government according to the YSRCP manifesto 2024.
