Energy minister and YSRCP senior leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy lambasted former chief minister of united Andhra Pradesh, N Kiran Kumar Reddy holding him accountable for Andhra Pradesh not getting special status after bifurcation. He made these remarks while participating in an election campaign in Punganur on Friday April 5, 2024.
Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, who is contesting as MLA candidate from Punganur assembly constituency on YSRCP ticket for the third time and overall fourth time, expressed his confidence in securing victory in the upcoming election. He said, “We have defeated two central ministers in the past. Now we will defeat the former chief minister. We will defeat Kiran Kumar Reddy. Kiran Kumar harassed CM YS Jagan when he was Chief Minister. Kiran Kumar Reddy is the reason why Andhra Pradesh did not get special status and division of the state.”
“He was the chief minister under Congress and now he has joined BJP shamelessly. Kiran Kumar is a traitor,” asserted Peddireddy.
