Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has expressed his condolences on the death of the prominent news reader, Shanti Swaroop who passed away on Friday.
Recalling about the work of Shanti Swaroop, Jagan Mohan Reddy said that “From the days when there was not much of technology, Shanti Swaroop news reading skills have inspired many young generations into news reading.” Jagan expressed his deep condolences to the Shanti Swaroop’s family.
It can be mentioned here that ShantiSwaroop is the first and the prominent news reader from Door Darshan. According to the reports, Shanti Swaroop suffered a heart attack and was availing treatment at the Yashoda Hospital in the Malakpet branch of the city and passed away on April 5, 2024. It is also said that he was admitted into the hospital two days ago and died on Friday while availing treatment.
