In a major setback to Telugu Desam Party president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, he has come under the radar of the Election Commission for the abusive verbal assault against chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Chandrababu who earlier made inappropriate comments against CM YS Jagan in Emmiganur, Markapuram and Bapatla Sabhas in violation of election rules received a notice from the Election Commission.
EC has served the notices to Chandrababu upon the complaint of YSRCP secretary Lella Appireddy. EC directed Chandrababu to give explanation within 48 hours for his abusive attack on Jagan.
Despite claiming to have 40 years experience on his back, Chandrababu often loses control while speaking about Jagan as he calls the YCP chief a "Psycho" and "Criminal". This unnecessarily provocative attitude has come back to haunt the TDP chief as he received the EC notices right before the polls.
