Statistically speaking, the BC community has the highest population share in Andhra Pradesh and this community is seen as the decisive factor on electing the new government.
Now, with the latest announcement from YSR Congress on the final list of MLA and MP candidates on the part's behalf, it has been confirmed that the Jagan-led party has given the highest importance to the BC community.
In a decisive move to attract the BC voters nearly 100 of the total 200 (175 MLA and 25 MP) tickets have been given to those hailing from the BC community. 100 BC candidates out of the total 200 seats has never happened before in the history of Andhra Pradesh and Jagan has marked a new precedent with the same.
It was announced by YSR Congress that the highest priority will be given to the BC communities in the party and this could very well take away the BC vote bank that TDP survives on.
If YCP manages to break the BC vote bank of TDP, then JSP and BJP will shatter like a pack of cards and this is a carefully devised move from Jagan to see the end of the alliance in AP.
