The coming elections are going to be a mighty important one for the ruling party YSRCP and the opposition party, Telugu Desam alike. There’s a lot at stake for both these parties in the 2024 elections.
Alongside are JanaSena and BJP which are currently in a fragile alliance.
Coming to the point, we could be seeing a clash between two Nandamuri family members in the coming elections as Purandeshwari and Balakrishna are likely to go head to head albeit in different capacities.
Balakrishna will obviously contest from Hindupur assembly segment. And as for Purandeshwari, she is likely to contest from Anantapur MP constituency, it seems.
Much like Balakrishna, his sister Purandeshwari is also looking to cash in on Hindupur TDP vote bank and intends to contest as an MP from here. While Balayya will campaign for TDP, his sister will go full thrust for BJP. It should be interesting to see two Nandamuri family members campaigning for two different parties in the same constituency - Hindupur.
