Confirmed: Jagan's suspected MLA joining in TDP

The coming election season in Andhra Pradesh is not too far from now and the political climate in the state is rapidly changing as the leading political parties have started to devise their strategies for the polls.

In a new development, a ruling party MLA is now set to join TDP and the stage is being prepared for the same.

Reportedly, Undavalli Sridevi, who won from Tadikonda constituency in the Amaravati capital region in the 2019 election is now setting the stage for her entry in TDP.

Undavalli is suspected to have cross voted in the MLC elections and this angered YS Jagan a great deal then. He set out to take evasive action as well.

Cut to now, Sridevi has called it quits for her time in the ruling party YSRCP and has decided to join TDP. She and her husband met with TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu the other day and announced their intention to join the party.

However, this doesn't come as a shock or a blow to the YSRCP as they were suspecting something of this sort already and are well prepared for the same. The Jagan-led party will start as favorite in Tadikonda constituency in the next election, regardless of Sridevi's political stint, opine analysts.
