One of the flagship implementations of the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the door delivery of pension for old age community in the state.
But there were a few complications in this old age pension scheme as aspects like land acreage and direct descendent owning cars were factored in and a sizable portion lost their eligibility for the pension scheme.
However, Jagan has acted swiftly in this regard and he has now delivered a masterstroke in this regard. He has asked the government administration to allot pensions for every old age person in the state, regardless of other factors. He has reportedly asked the authorities to allot pensions for individuals who were previously deemed unfit.
This comes as a huge development in the build up for the coming election. As per Jagan's latest decision, those who have lost their pensions over the last few months will now turn into beneficiaries again and they will get this privilege back.
This decision could now act as a mass swing ahead of the coming election. This could greatly influence the voting pattern and turn it in favor of the ruling party, YSRCP.
