CM Jagan flags of new ambulances. CM Jagan always thinks of the poor and the needy and how to help them in various means and bring change in their lives. CM Jagan today flagged off 148 new ambulances in the city of Vijayawada. The new ambulances will help improve the efficiency of the health services in the state. With the inclusion of new ambulances, now a total of 768 ambulances will be plying across the state to help health services to the poor and needy.

CM Jagan before starting the ambulances inspected the medical equipment and facilities in the ambulances. Medical and Health Minister V. Rajani, Women and Child Welfare Minister KV Ushasri Charan, Roads and Buildings Minister D. Ramalingeswara Rao ( Raja), MP N. Suresh, Special CS MT Krishna Babu (Medical and Health), senior officials and people’s representatives were also present at the event.

Former CM YSR introduced the ambulances the first of its kind in the country. The new ambulances are procured at a cost of Rs 35 crore and will replace the old ones which have already clocked more than 2.5 lakh km distance and regularly suffer repairs. Sources say Jagan is very particular about replacing the old..fleet to provide efficient services to needy people.
