AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy enjoys good relationship and bonhomie with the BJP at the centre and PM Modi. Union Ministers even went on record that PM Modi considers Jagan as his own son. He is planning to go to Delhi on 5 or 6 July and will be meeting PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. PMO already asked Jagan to make himself available in Delhi on these days.
Inside talk is Jagan is keen to discuss Special Status and Polavaram project and many more pending issues. Though BJP already made it clear that the special status is done and dusted, CM Jagan is keen to rake it up again. BJP graph went down in AP due to its stand on special status. Now its stand on the privatisation of Vizag Steel Plant is angering the AP people.
CM Jagan is planning to pressurize PM Modi and BJP to release funds and have a rethink on special status showing the impending elections as the reason. If Jagan emerges successful in his attempts where others like Chandra Babu and Pawan Kalyan failed, it will be a huge advantage to CM Jagan and his party YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh.
