For long rumours have been floating thick and fast that Congress top brass are keen to have YS. Sharmila, founder of YSRTP in its fold. Reports came that Sharmila met Congress senior leader, Karnataka Deputy CM DK.Shiva Kumar and her entry will be a mere formality.
Sharmila however rubbished all those claims and asked the media to focus on Telangana CM KCR's corruption. However, few Congress leaders also confirmed that Sharmila will be joining the party and will be made in charge of the Congress AP chief and also Rajya Sabha MP.
Congress Telangana leaders and TPCC chief Revanth Reddy however objected to her entry into the Telangana party. Reports came that Sharmila will be joining Congress on July 8 after paying homage to her dad YSR at Idupulapaya. In the midst of all this, the senior party leader made some interesting comments.
Former MP Chinta Mohan rubbished the rumors that Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi will be paying respects to YSR. He said the Congress party made a grave mistake by giving importance to YSR and their family members. He said Congress will not make such a mistake once again and pointed out that Sharmila is the same like the kin of other senior Congress leaders and CMs.
