In the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections, political parties are reportedly trying to rope in Kannada film stars to campaign for them. Kiccha Sudeep has already come out to campaign for BJP and support Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. However, another big Kannada hero has reportedly been offered similar campaign offers as well.
Among the film stars, Yash, who gained nationwide fame with the movie KGF, is said to be the most sought-after campaigner. However, Yash reportedly denied the offers coming from BJP, Congress, and JDS as he is currently focusing on his next projects.
Yash had campaigned for a few candidates in the last Assembly polls and helped Sumalatha win in Mandya. The parties are keeping this in mind and want to rope him in as their star campaigner.
Apart from Yash, Kantara Rishab Shetty is also being eyed by the parties, but Rishab has decided not to campaign for any party. Yash is currently busy with his upcoming projects, and we might hear about his next project by the end of this month. Despite his reluctance, there is reportedly a lot of pressure on him to at least declare indirect support since he hails from the Northern part of the state and he has become an icon now.
