Indian students, hailing from various parts of India including the Telugu states, are expressing heightened concerns for their safety amidst escalating violence in Kyrgyzstan. Urgent appeals have been dispatched to both the central government and the state administrations of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, urging immediate evacuation to mitigate further risks.
In response to the deteriorating situation, the Indian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan has issued advisories urging students to remain indoors. While the embassy has noted a temporary lull in hostilities, apprehensions persist among the student populace regarding their safety and well-being in the volatile environment.
