The Trailer of '35-Chinna Katha Kaadu' is out. Starring Nivetha Thomas and Vishwadev as a married couple whose school-going kid fares poorly in Maths, the film also features Priyadarshi as a duty-minded teacher and Bhagyaraj as a well-meaning principal. Directed by Nanda Kishore Emani, the film will hit the screens in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam on September 6. On the evening of September 5, multiple early screenings will be scheduled in the Telugu States.
How do you handle a dimwitted child, nicknamed Zero Babu, who can't help himself? Themes like the role of punishment, a student's phobia, the place of pedagogy and the importance of parental interventions are highlighted through the trailer. Emotional dialogues involving a mother and her child seem to be part of the film's sentimental scenes.
Visually and aesthetically, '35-Chinna Katha Kaadu' comes across as an Indie film made on a minimal budget. Also featuring Gautami and comedian Krishna Teja, it has to hold some surprises to justify a theatrical release.
The music is by Vivek Sagar and the cinematography is by Niketh Bommi. The film also features notable names in editing, production design, and other creative aspects. Edited by TC Prasanna, the film has production design by Latha Naidu. Suresh Productions is backing the film.
