Rains can't stop the surge of 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram': Nani

On its third day at the box office, 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' is facing mild headwinds in the form of cyclonic rains in parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Many shows had to be cancelled in some centres.

At the film's success meet on Saturday, actor Nani said that minor hiccups are being faced where intense rains have been recorded. But they are not enough to stop the surge of the movie.

"This morning, I woke up and wondered if the rains were going to affect footfalls in theatres. To my surprise, everywhere, our film is running to packed houses. If you are unable to watch 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' due to rains, don't worry. The film is going to be playing in the theatres near you for a long time," Nani said.

On the occasion, Nani said that he has never bothered about labels like 'Tier 1 hero' and 'Tier 2 hero'. "Honestly speaking, I don't understand it. The place I am in is something I could never have dreamt of in my life," the 'Shyam Singha Roy' actor said.

Director Vivek Athreya said that Nani's films have separate fan bases altogether.
