Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan's multi-lingual biographical action film 'Amaran' will be released in Telugu by Sreshth Movies. Sudhakar Reddy and Nikhitha Reddy, who are from the family of actor Nithiin, have bought the Telugu theatrical rights from the producers of the Tamil original (Kamal Haasan, R Mahendran and Sony Pictures International Productions). Sreshth Movies previously released 'Vikram' in Telugu and made good profits.
Written and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, the film will hit the screens on Diwali on October 31. The high-octane action drama is based on a book.
'Amaran' has been mounted on a massive budget. Sivakarthikeyan, known for 'Doctor' and 'Maaveeran', will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. Sai Pallavi, who is also doing Naga Chaitanya's 'Thandel', is the leading lady opposite him.
Music Director GV Prakash Kumar, Production Designer Rajeevan, Cinematographer CH Sai, Editor R Kalaivanan, and Action Directors Anbariv Masters along with Stefan Richter, are working on 'Amaran'.
