Nag Ashwin: Arshad Warsi's 'Joker' Comment is No Big Deal

Director Nag Ashwin has stepped in to try and stop the online fight between Tollywood (Southern cinema) and Bollywood (Northern cinema) fans over Arshad Warsi's recent remark that Prabhas looked like a "joker" in 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Nag Ashwin said that Warsi should have been more careful with his words. He vowed to unleash a better version of Prabhas in the sequel to the epic dystopian action entertainer.

"Let's not go backwards with this north vs. south stuff. We are all part of the Indian film industry. Arshad saab should have thought before he spoke, but it's okay. I am sending toys to his kids. Will work hard to make him tweet that Prabhas was the best ever in 'Kalki 2'," Nag Ashwin opined.

Warsi's innocent remarks have been amplified in recent days. Telugu heroes and the Telugu Movie Artists Association, instead of helping to bury the hatchet, have only aggravated the matters by criticizing Warsi openly. The Bollywood actor has been silenced thoroughly. Nag Ashwin stepped in after enough damage was done.
