So, get ready, 'cause Rajinikanth's new movie, 'Vettaiyan', is dropping on October 10th! Lyca Productions just announced the release date in style. Crazy thing is, Suriya's 'Kanguva' is also coming out on the same day!
'Kanguva' is all about epic war scenes. So, it belongs to a different league altogether.
But then, 'Vettaiyan' is basically a Rajini show and you know it is going to enjoy maximum craze at the Tamil box office. He is playing a badass cop this time, and guess who's joined the party? Amitabh Bachchan, the Ashwatthama dude from 'Kalki 2898 AD'! It's gonna be a mega clash between Rajini and Suriya. Both movies are riding on super high budgets, so the pressure is on!
The Telugu audience are more likely going to prefer 'Kaguva'. The film's Trailer was released recently. And it has been a success. Producer KE Gnanavelraja recently said that an International Trailer of 'Kanguva' will be released around September 15.
'Kanguva' is directed by Siva, while 'Vettaiyan' is helmed by TJ Gnanavel of 'Jai Bhim' fame. Put together, the films might have been made on a budget of more than Rs 500 Cr.
