Bollywood film 'Chhaava', meaning Son of a Lion, is a historical drama film directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan. Vicky Kaushal will be seen as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the movie.
Releasing its action-driven (drawn from war sequences) Teaser today, the makers declared that 'Chhaava' will hit the screens on December 6. "Protector of Swarajya. Defender of Dharma. 'Chhaava' - An epic saga of a courageous warrior! (sic)," Maddock Films wrote on social media.
'Chhaava' has music by AR Rahman, whose most recent work includes Dhanush's acclaimed 'Raayan'.
What is Rashmika Mandanna's role in 'Chhaava'? She is playing Yesubai Bhonsale, the wife of Sambhaji. Akshaye Khanna will be seen as Aurangzeb. Ashutosh Rana will be seen as Sarsenapati Hambirao Mohite.
Interestingly, Rashmika has another release coming out in theatres on the same date (December 6). Her long-awaited 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is up for a massive release.
