'Eagle' has music by Davzand, a fresh talent brimming with creativity. Responsible for composing both songs and background music for Ravi Teja's upcoming February 9th release, 'Eagle,' Davzand shares the highlights of his latest interview:
"My original name is David Sandeep. I rechristened my name for stylistic purposes. There is nothing more to it. I have been a freelance musician. I and actor Sree Vishnu were classmates, by the way. I was in Class X when I realized that I had a keen interest in music. I used to play the National Anthem at school. I did music for video games as a freelancer later in life. I am a self-taught musician.
Ravi Teja garu is an inspiring figure who generously supports newcomers in the industry. When director Karthik Gattamneni presented him with three tunes specifically crafted for this movie, he was genuinely impressed. Karthik understands where musical highs can elevate a scene. The hero himself expressed appreciation for the background score, and receiving such positive feedback brings me immense satisfaction.
'Eagle' gave me a sprawling canvas to experiment with. The genre (action thriller) and the mood kindled my creativity. 'Gallanthe' (a Westernized love song with Shehnai thrown in), an English-language song (titled 'Eagle's On His Way') and the rest of the songs came out really well. 'Eagle' helped me go beyond the conventional bounds. 'Aadu Macha' is there in the film to please the tastes of the mass audience. My personal favourite is 'Gallanthe'. There is a lover boy in us all (smiles).
The role of music in 'Eagle' is pivotal. The fight scenes are exceptional, and the love track is a standout feature, with music playing a special role in both instances. The Poland episode is another segment where music enhances the overall experience. The sound design is crafted in a manner that effectively maintains an element of suspense throughout."
