Legendary producer-director M.S. Raju—the creative genius behind iconic blockbusters like Devi, Manasantha Nuvve, Okkadu, and Varsham—is gearing up to thrill audiences with his upcoming directorial, Agadha. Presented by Ajay KR and produced by Kashi Visalakshi Balusu under the Sri Adi Varaha Productions banner, the film is all set for a grand theatrical release on August 14, 2026.
Following the fantastic response to its teaser, the makers released a special making video titled "The Origin of Agadha," offering a fascinating look into the immense research, travel, and creative vision behind the project.

Opening up about his artistic process, director M.S. Raju revealed that Agadha presented a challenge unlike any of his previous classics:
"Every film brings a new challenge. With Agadha, I wanted to craft episodes that Telugu audiences have never witnessed on screen. I personally travelled across several states, visiting remote villages steeped in deep-rooted superstitions. During one such visit, watching a woman perform exorcism rituals inspired the powerful character of Mahadevi. To counter her, I created Simha—brought to life brilliantly by Shravan Reddy."
