My risky stunt scene was removed in Naga Chaitanya's film: Sriram

Actor Srikanth Sriram of 'Roja Poolu' (2002) fame has done films like Thalapathy Vijay's 'Nanban' (2011), among many others. He will soon be seen in 'Pindam', the Telugu-language horror-thriller to be released on December 15.

In 2011, Sriram was seen in an action thriller titled 'Dhada'. Directed by Ajay Bhuyan, it was led by Naga Chaitanya.

In his latest interview, Sriram revealed that the film was sold to him as a two-hero movie but was made differently. "It was supposed to be the story of two brothers. I did an elaborate, single-shot action sequence at the risk of sustaining injuries. It was supposed to be more than two-and-a-half minutes long in the film. Unfortunately, against the demands of the script, it was removed. They felt that it was dominating the other fights," Sriram said with a tinge of disappointment. He complained that the word given to an actor has to be honoured.

'Dhada' is considered one of the biggest flops in Chay's career. Nagarjuna and Chay had pinned so many hopes on that film. In his interview, Sriram didn't find fault with the film's director, who had set out to make a new-age film but ended up delivering a dud.
