Payal Rajput has been eagerly waiting for a new break. The much-vaunted and hyped-up 'Mangalavaaram' hasn't given her the success she has been seeking. The film turned out to be a below-average box office outing.
The 'RX 100' actress now wants to be a part of the prequel to 'Kantara', titled 'Kantara: A Legend - Chapter 1'. Written and directed by Sandalwood star Rishab Shetty, the film will go on the floors soon. Reacting to a casting call by Hombale Films, Payal took to social media to request a place in the spiritual thriller. Saying that she would like to travel with the team of the film for the "outstanding project", the 'Venky Mama' and 'Disco Raja' actress politely urged producer Vijay Kiragandur to consider her name.
It is no secret that a lot of starlets audition for big films but their names rarely come out in the open. Even if they are proven names, they have to go through an audition if the director is insistent on casting specific faces. They run the risk of rejection. Sometimes, even superstar actresses have to go through this process. A lot of star heroines get rejected if they fail the look test.
