'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty' is scheduled to hit the screens on September 7. Three days ahead of the theatrical release, Naveen Polishetty and director Mahesh Babu P today interacted with the media.
There is this rumour that some scenes featuring the 'Jathi Ratnalu' actor have been removed at the edit table to show bias in favour of Anushka Shetty. Clarifying the same, the film's director today said that every decision has been made taking into consideration the demands of the story. "Naveen's character comes 15-20 minutes after the film starts. It was actually his suggestion that Anushka's character be introduced first before his," Mahesh Babu P said.
The 'Agent Sai Srinivas Atreya' actor was asked about his willingness or otherwise to do remakes. He made it clear that remakes don't interest him and that's why he has not done any even though a few offers came his way. "I would feel proud if our cinema is talked about in other industries. I am disinclined to do remakes," Naveen, who is playing a stand-up comedian in his upcoming release, said.
