'Athidhi' is the next horror thriller on the anvil on Telugu OTT. To be streamed soon on Disney Plus Hotstar, the web series is led by Venu Thottempudi. The hero of the late 90s and early 2000s took on acting assignments after a long hiatus in the year 2021. Ravi Teja's 'Ramarao on Duty' was his theatrical release last year. This time, he is debuting on OTT.
Directed by YG Bharath, this one has Praveen Sattaru as the showrunner. Only recently, the 'PSV Garuda Vega' maker scored a major flop with Varun Tej's 'Gandeevadhari Arjuna'. The horror thriller is set in a mansion where a stranger turns out to be scary.
Starring Avantika Mishra and Aditi Gautam in key roles, this one also features Venkatesh Kakumanu, Ravi Varma, Bhadram, Chanakya Tejas, Gayatri Chaganti, and Pooja Reddy Bora.
With editing by Dharmendra Kakarla and production design by Sahi Suresh, the show is shot by cinematographer Pramesh Dev.
As for Venu, he is known for super-hit films like 'Hanuman Junction' and 'Pellam Oorelithe'.
