Nikhil Siddhartha is ready to entertain the audience this month. On June 29, this second pan-India movie, 'SPY', will hit the screens.
The movie, telling the story behind the mysterious disappearance of Subhas Chandra Bose in 1945, has been described as a propaganda movie by many Netizens. Nikhil has been accused of toeing the BJP line of late.
Giving it back to those accusing him of doing an agenda-driven film, Nikhil wrote that national pride shouldn't be seen as problematic. Calling himself a proud Indian, the '18 Pages' actor further wrote that 'one free India' is what he believes in.
Nikhil started promoting 'SPY' on Sunday digitally. His social media posts came amid reports that he and his producer have had heated arguments over the release time and strategy. Nikhil allegedly wanted 'SPY' to be released later but the producer insisted that it be released this month itself. The latter prevailed, eventually.
'SPY', directed by Garry BH, will most likely be released on a fairly large scale in Hindi. If 'Adipurush' loses screen count by then and there is no unexpected Bollywood competitor in the town, the Nikhil-starrer will land a good release in Hindi.
