“A Beautiful Entertainer Filled with Mystery and Madness”: Hero Suriya at the Star-Studded Pre-Release Event of ‘Scene’
Versatile actor Suriya is teaming up with Aavesham fame director Jithu Madhavan for an action-comedy entertainer titled ‘Scene’. Co-starring Nazriya Nazim in the female lead, the film features Naslen, Anand Raj, Lal, and Raj Priyan in key roles.
Bankrolled by Jyotika and Suriya under the banners of Agaram Studios and 2D Entertainment, with Jayashree Damodaran as co-producer, the film is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release as a Diwali treat on November 6, 2026. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the movie is being distributed on a grand scale by NVR Cinema. Ahead of its release, the makers hosted a grand pre-release event.
Suriya: “This Diwali, Let’s Celebrate with ‘Scene’ as One Big Family”
Addressing his fans and the gathering with immense warmth, Suriya shared his thoughts on the project:
“Thank you all. Love you. We are all one family. You have given me unconditional love, and visiting you three times this year is a true blessing. Today, everyone talks about pan-India cinema, but actors like Nagarjuna garu collaborated across industries long ago, working with directors like Mani Ratnam, Priyadarshan, and Mahesh Bhatt. That openness always inspired me.
After working with Venky and now with Jithu Madhavan—whose previous films ‘Romancham’ and ‘Aavesham’ you all loved—bringing ‘Scene’ to you has been an incredible journey. This film has murder mystery, madness, and loads of laughter. Rakendu Mouli has penned wonderful dialogues and lyrics with deep commitment. Nazriya is a natural actress who even performed stunts in this film! It is a wholesome family entertainer, and I invite everyone to celebrate Diwali with ‘Scene’ in theaters.”
