Anushka Shetty Shines in Intense Pan-India Action Drama ‘Ghaati’ – Trailer Out, Theatrical Release on September 5

The anticipation ends as the gripping action drama ‘Ghaati’ gears up for its grand theatrical release on September 5. The recently launched trailer promises an emotionally charged and thrilling cinematic journey that will captivate audiences across India.

The film features the legendary Anushka Shetty in a daring, never-before-seen wild avatar, paired with Vikram Prabhu in a rugged role as her steadfast partner. Directed by the visionary Krish Jagarlamudi, Ghaati is produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi under First Frame Entertainment, and presented by UV Creations.

Set against the backdrop of the treacherous Ghats during the British Raj era, the story delves into the lives of the Ghaatis, a community originally forced into road-building under harsh conditions. Now, they find themselves trapped in a darker world—as unwilling drug mules navigating deadly corridors through the same mountains.

Anushka's character evolves powerfully from being a victim to a criminal, and ultimately emerging as a legendary figure who challenges the oppressive system to protect her people. Standing beside her, Vikram Prabhu portrays her devoted lover, adding emotional depth to the narrative. The film also highlights memorable antagonistic roles by Chaitanya Rao and Ravindran Vijay, with a notable appearance from Jalapathy Babu.

The movie showcases a compelling vision brought alive by Krish Jagarlamudi’s direction, complemented by the evocative cinematography of Manojh Reddy Katasani, who captures the rugged beauty of the landscape with authenticity. The intense atmosphere is further elevated by Nagavelli Vidya Sagar’s dynamic musical score.

Ghaati’s production is marked by its impressive scale, with UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment ensuring high-quality visuals. Thota Tharrani’s art direction enriches the film’s aesthetic, while Sai Madhav Burra’s impactful dialogues deepen the dramatic experience. Fast-paced editing by Chanakya Reddy Toorupu and Venkat N. Swamy keeps audiences engaged throughout. The raw and visceral action sequences, choreographed by Ram Krishan, are vital in driving the story’s intensity.

This Pan-India film will be released across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages, promising to deliver a powerful blend of storytelling, performances, and technical brilliance. Ghaati is set to make a strong mark when it arrives in theatres this September 5.
