Aman Preet Singh, who is better known as the younger brother of star heroine Rakul Preet Singh, was today arrested in Hyderabad. Himself a small-time actor, he was among the five individuals who were caught in an anti-drugs operation. At the time of writing, they were brought to Cyberabad Commissionerate for interrogation.
The Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau submitted the names of 30 prospective customers who consume drugs, reports said today.
Aman Preet and the four others (identified as Nigerian nationals) arrested were allegedly in possession of cocaine worth Rs 2 crore. Further developments regarding the incident are awaited.
About 2.6 kgs of cocaine was being brought to the city for sale over a period of half a year. The anti-drugs operation today busted the racket through a smart strategy. Among the thirty names of customers submitted to the Cyberabad Commissioner, some celebrities might also be there.
