A Physiotherapist named Boda Praveen has confessed to having killed his wife Kumari (26) and his two children (Krushika and Tanishka). The motive? He wanted to get rid of his wife and children to marry his girlfriend, Soni Francis, a Kerala woman who was his colleague at the hospital where he worked.
Praveen, after injecting his wife with Anesthesia, and strangling his kids to death, projected their deaths as a result of a road accident. "After his wife’s death, he killed his two kids in the car. He later drove the car on the route of his village and intentionally hit a tree between Manchukonda and Harya Thanda to paint it as an accident," a report by DC says.
When did the police intervene to conduct an investigation? Kumari's parents didn't find a single wound or bruise on the dead bodies of their daughter and grandchildren. They complained to the police, raising suspicions about their son-in-law. The police discovered that Praveen had previously googled about how much Anesthesia would go undetected in a post-mortem. They questioned Praveen, who confessed to having killed the trio.
